SAMGO Timeline

We had a growing team of field service engineers. As our business grew, we had a problem keeping track of everything. With lots of different customers, each service call had different types of equipment with all sorts of different parts. It made it hard to match the right engineer to the right job & to keep the team fully utilized so that our customers got a service call quickly. We also found it hard to keep on top of parts inventory and to get invoices out that were accurate and on time. We had slow processes that meant we were struggling to deliver a great customer service. We had lots of paperwork that was slowing us down and making it hard for us to run a profitable business

We built our own service scheduling software . It’s called SAMGO. SAMGO is cloud based and built for Mobile working. Every engineer has a mobile device running SAMGO. They’re connected to the office in real-time. The Admin team can see where everyone is and they can schedule jobs based on the latest location and availability. We’ve eliminated paperwork. We have fast and flexible processes. We can respond really fast to each service call. Our customers get invoices that are accurate and we get paid much faster. Our intuitive dashboard gives our management team the real-time information they need. Our clients have their own customisable dashboards to track work. We’ve integrated with Sage, MS Dynamics and SAMGO is ready for full ERP integrations with bigger clients.

We’ve trebled our field service team but we’ve added no administrative staff.

We’ve created learning algorithms that help us to schedule in service calls to machines so that they get serviced before they break. We have a team that is focused on serving customers SAMGO does everything else!
